| Community Grants Program | | Ararat Rural City Council has introduced a fast and easy one-step application process for community groups to apply for grants under Council’s Community Grants Program.
From now on, community groups seeking a grant - or with an idea for a project - can apply for a Council grant using one generic application form. There is no longer a need to apply for individual grants programs.
Funding is provided on a dollar-for-dollar basis. In-kind support, as part of the applicant's contribution, should not exceed 25% of the total project cost. In-kind values should be $10 per hour for unskilled labour and $25 per hour for professional/skilled labour as set by State Government guidelines.
Applications will be invited at any time of the year. Applications should be submitted before February 28 for March funding allocations, June 30 for July funding and October 31 for November funding.
