Australia Day Celebrations 2021
ARCC Australia Day Ceremony
Council’s annual ceremony will be held on Tuesday 26 January from 10am (with a barbecue breakfast from 9am) at Alexandra Oval Community Centre, 1 Waratah Ave, Ararat.
This event includes presentation of the ARCC Australia Day Awards, Australia Day Ambassador presentations, live music and a breakfast free barbecue.
All are welcome to attend, however numbers are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Australia Day Ceremony will also be livestreamed to Moyston and Lake Bolac Hall. Registration for these venues is not required.

Open Water Learning Experience
Due to COVID-19, we have had to limit Council’s pool party celebrations for Australia Day. However, parents can register for a free water safety session to teach their children how to safely swim in waterways.
Three sessions will be held, these are:
Lake Bolac Peter O’Rorke Memorial Swimming Pool

Attendance for these sessions is limited to 40 children each sessions. This is only inclusive of children attending the session and parents/guardians do not need to register themselves.
Willaura pool will also be holding Australia Day celebrations- they will be providing a free BBQ to the community
