The Woorndoo Chatsworth Landcare Group (WCLG) has been awarded State Govt funds to diversify and extend a restored native grassland in the Woorndoo/Chatsworth area. The Woorndoo/Chatsworth area supports some of the very best roadside and public reserve remnants many of which are critically endangered plant communities. Our project will take an experimental approach and aims to improve the efficiency of seed use, establish the most appropriate season for planting and sowing operations and whether planting and sowing can be used to establish viable populations of species to diversify both existing and new restorations. We welcome all newcomers to our Facebook page and to future events.
