NAIDOC Week 2025 Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony with Paul PK Kelly

Monday 7 July 2025, 2pm - 3pm

National NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.

To celebrate National NAIDOC Week, the Ararat Gallery TAMA will host a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony conducted by proud Gunditjmara – Kirrae Wurrong man and highly regarded yidaki (didgeridoo) and cultural performer, Paul PK Kelly. The event will be held in the Ararat Gallery TAMA courtyard. Afterwards, attendees are invited to an afternoon tea in the Studio. Entry is via the Ararat Gallery TAMA front entrance, 82 Vincent Street, Ararat.
