Skate into Summer

Ararat Rural City Council is thrilled to announce a brand-new community event, "Skate into Summer," offering a unique cool escape from the summer heat this December. 

From 12th – 14th December, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a unique opportunity to skate on ice, right in the heart of the Ararat. The Ararat Town Hall auditorium will be transformed to create a festive atmosphere, complete with music and lighting. 

This family-friendly event will offer a range of sessions for all ages and skill levels, including dedicated times for children and themed nights.

The excitement kicks off on Friday 12th December, with a special opening night celebration featuring live crosses with local radio network ACE Radio, as well as giveaways and a selection of food trucks offering delicious treats to kick off the three-day event.

Early-bird discounts will be offered for families and group bookings. All necessary equipment, including skates, will be included with ticket purchase.
