Ararat’s Local Events Get a Kickstart Grant Boost
Ararat Rural City Council is pleased to announce that local businesses Pure Vibe Event Hire and Grampians Living have been selected as a recipient of Council’s Kickstart Grant, supporting Ararat’s small business community to grow and thrive.
Pure Vibe Event Hire and Grampians Living have collaborated to open their new showroom at 120 Barkly St, Ararat. The Kickstart Grant initiative, developed to empower local entrepreneurs and innovative businesses, has provided Pure Vibe Event Hire and Grampians Living with a valuable funding boost as they set up their new premises.
The Ararat-based companies supply event furniture, marquee hire and staging solutions for a wide range of occasions, helping make community gatherings and celebrations memorable. Grampians Living compliments the event hire business with tablescaping items, décor and CIY hire solutions for weddings, events and special occasions. This grant will assist the businesses to enhance their service offering and expand their reach across the region.
Mayor Bob Sanders congratulated Pure Vibe Event Hire and Grampians Living and welcomed their contribution to the Ararat business landscape. “This partnership is a wonderful example of the drive and resourcefulness we see in our local businesses. It’s fantastic to see Council’s Kickstart Grant supporting real people, with creative ideas, right here in Ararat,” Mayor Sanders said. “By backing local businesses, we’re helping to keep our town buzzing with opportunity and optimism.”
Kate Kirkpatrick from Grampians Living and Leigh Potter from Pure Vibe Event Hire said, “We’re thrilled to receive this grant. There are so many costs involved in setting up a shopfront and this will help absorb some of that. We decided to take the punt and add to Barkly Street’s retail identity, and we’re excited to be here just in time for the festive season.”
