Get Ready for an Action-Packed Community Day at the Ararat Fitness Centre
Ararat Rural City Council is inviting families and young people to join in for a wonderful day of basketball, community, and connection at the Ararat Fitness Centre this Saturday, October 18.
The Red Basketball 3v3 Comp will see local kids and teens team up and show off their moves from 11am to 4pm, with the chance to bring home trophies in the much-anticipated half-time shooting competition.
The event also features live Ambulance Victoria demonstrations, an array of delicious food vans, and a Rotary BBQ, promising something for everyone to enjoy.
Mayor Jo Armstrong said the event is a great way to get together and enjoy the energy and enthusiasm of the community. “There’s something special about seeing young people giving their best on the court and families catching up over good food. Our community thrives on these moments of coming together, and days like this remind us just how supportive and fun Ararat Rural City can be,” Mayor Armstrong said.
Proudly supported by RWE, Blue Light, MIXX FM, The Weekly Advertiser, Ambulance Victoria, the Victorian State Government, and Ararat Rural City Council, this event is about embracing the spirit of the region.
