About Warrak

Warrak/Mt Cole is set in a beautiful valley, with a mountain backdrop and offers the feeling of peace in a quiet country atmosphere. This predominantly agricultural community offers visitors all of this and more.

Back in the 1860’s several sawmills supplied timber to the Goldfields of Ballarat and also other new settlements in Victoria.

Warrak/Mt Cole’s proximity to other places of interest link this small part of paradise to the outside world. A scenic route from Buangor through to Warrak and then to Ararat is a favourite for wine and nature lovers with two stunning wineries and amazing views of surrounding rolling hills and the Ararat Wind Farm.
