
Plant Operators
Ararat Rural City Council is recruiting for two Plant Operators to join our Infrastructure team.
These roles are a chance to make a real impact by building and maintaining the roads, paths, and infrastructure that keep our community moving. We’re looking for experienced, safety-minded team players with the right licences/tickets and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Position details:
- Carry out general labouring activities and civil/maintenance works across the municipality using graders, loaders, and rollers.
- Full Time
- Two positions
Minimum required qualifications and experience:
• Current Victorian Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck licence.
• Construction Induction Card
• A Level 2 First Aid Certificate is required or can be obtained following commencement
• Experience operating road maintenance plant and machinery
Experience, competence and/or appropriate licences are also desirable for:
• Back-hoe
• Excavator
• Fork-Lift
• Front-end Loader
• Traffic management
