Media Alert: Waste Calendars

Ararat Rural City Council advises that the 2026 Waste Collection Calendars are now available.

Residents who wish to access a copy straight away can collect one from Council’s Customer Service Centre at 59 Vincent Street, Ararat. The centre is open Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5:15pm.

The calendar can also be downloaded anytime from Council’s website:

Rural property residents will receive a printed calendar in their post boxes or letterboxes shortly.

For residents in town, calendars will be delivered by Australia Post. Australia Post has advised there will be a slight delay, and deliveries are expected to arrive in early January 2026.

Council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding. We know many residents find it handy to keep their waste collection calendar nearby, and we look forward to ensuring everyone receives their copy soon.
