What if you couldn't prove who you are, where you live, or what you own?
Get ePrepared
What if you couldn't prove who you are, where you live, or what you own? If you’re impacted by a disaster, having electronic copies of your essential documents can save you time, worry, and stress.
Get e-prepared before the next long, hot weekend. 📂🔥 Ararat Rural City Council is hosting free “Get E-Prepared” sessions at Ararat Library, where you can learn which important documents to save electronically, what you can and cannot do with scanned copies, and the pros and cons of different storage options like USB, devices, and the cloud.
Come along on Wednesday 21 January, Wednesday 28 January, or Friday 30 January, from 2 pm to 4 pm at Ararat Library. If you would like help on the day, bring a USB stick and the documents you want to scan, and you are welcome to bring your own device too. A limited number of USB sticks may be available for those who need one.
Bookings are preferred as spaces may be limited. To let us know you are coming, phone 03 5355 0232. If you cannot make a session but want to learn more, you can also visit the Get E-Prepared website by Justice Connect.
