The role is focused on maintaining safe, clean and hygienic spaces for Council employees, visitors, customers and the wider community.

Working within the Infrastructure department, the Cleaner will also deliver courteous customer service and represent Council in a positive and professional manner while carrying out day-to-day duties.

About the role
As Cleaner, you will undertake a broad range of cleaning tasks across Council facilities and amenities, often working with minimal supervision. Duties include reporting equipment faults, maintenance issues, damage and security concerns, using cleaning products and chemicals in line with Safety Data Sheets, and helping ensure facilities remain secure outside working hours where required.
