Childcare access in Lake Bolac and surrounding areas remains firmly on Council’s radar.
Following completion of the Lake Bolac & Surrounds Childcare Demand & Feasibility Study in 2024 following community engagement in 2023, Council has been actively engaging with private and not-for-profit partners to support delivery of a new childcare centre that reflects identified community needs, including long day care, OSHC, and holiday care options.
We recognise the importance of affordable, accessible childcare for local families and workforce participation, and we will continue working toward key milestones, with further updates provided as the project progresses.
