At the 2026 Lake Bolac Eel Festival there will be a 3km community walk along the shoreline of Lake Bolac, led by the Beyond Bolac Catchment Action Group.

The walk will start at 10am from the boat shed and along the way volunteers will share stories about the historical, ecological and cultural significance of the lake and what’s being done by them to preserve it.
