Grampians Petanque Club

The Grampians Petanque Club is a Grampians based club which has three playing areas called pistes. There are two pistes at the Oval reserve in Halls Gap and a piste at the Moyston Football Club Oval.

Every Saturday afternoon at 2pm travellers and local residents are welcome at our piste, located at the Halls Gap oval reserve, for a friendly game of pétanque in the magnificent Grampians National Park. Enjoy a memorable afternoon playing pétanque under the watchful eyes of our resident kangaroos and on a piste that is recognised as the most picturesque in Australia. Beginners are most welcome, boules are provided and tea or coffee is available – or if you prefer, BYO drinks.

You are also welcome to play at the Moyston Piste located at the Moyston Recreation Reserve on Friday afternoons (3:00pm until late) and Sunday afternoons (2:30pm – 6:00).

The group runs regional tournaments that attracted large numbers of players from Victoria and other areas of Australia.

We have a strong membership base with members from Halls Gap, Moyston, Pomonal and Stawell. Our membership is made up of both social players and players who are registered to compete in the tournaments which are held all over Victoria. The registered players compete under the Grampians Petanque Club banner.
