Paint what you hear WS

Paint What You Hear is an immersive performance and workshop experience for young people. Led by musician Erica Rasmussen and visual artist Zakiya Kurdi, Paint What You Hear incorporates classical and contemporary music with visual art to engage young people in the arts, inviting them to respond to live music using painting and drawing. Participants will listen to live musicians and respond to the music exploring lines, shape, colour and their own imagination, learning about the elements of music and how to represent sound through artistic expression.
A unique and immersive learning opportunity, Paint What You Hear is engaging, fun and best of all – messy!

Workshops for 4 to 8 year-olds
Children must be supervised by an adult

The workshops are messy and use paint, we advise participants to wear old clothes.

Tickets $15 per child - follow the link below to book.
