Ararat and district farmers are invited to a free farm succession planning workshop at Elmhurst next month.

Presented by Agriculture Victoria and Dr Kate Burke, Your legacy, their future: success with succession planning will explore the practical and personal aspects of planning a smooth transition for the family farm. Participants will consider topics including legacy, family relationships, business viability, wealth, different generations, non-farming siblings and advisers, and develop their own succession timeline and goals.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday 6 October, from 8.30am for a 9am start until 2.30pm, at Elmhurst Golf Club, Golf Course Road, Elmhurst. Morning tea and lunch are included. Registration is essential, book your place at www.trybooking.com/DPOXR.
