Annual Rate Notices Issued for Ararat Rural City Council Residents
Ararat Rural City Council wishes to advise residents that annual rate notices have been issued via post and email.
Ratepayers can choose to pay their rates either in one full lump sum or spread them across four instalments throughout the year as follows:
- Lump Sum Payment: Due 15 February
- Instalment Option:
- First Instalment: 30 September
- Second Instalment: 30 November
- Third Instalment: 28 February
- Fourth Instalment: 31 May
To pay by instalments, the first instalment must be paid by 30 September.
Reminder notices will be sent prior to each remaining instalment. Ratepayers are also welcome to make partial payments towards their account at any time before the scheduled due dates.
“We know everyone prefers to manage their household budget a bit differently, which is why we offer flexible ways to pay,” said Ararat Rural City Council CEO, Dr Harrison said.
“If you’re finding things a bit tough right now, please reach out to us early. Our team is here to help work out a payment plan that fits your situation.”
Switch to eNotices
Residents can opt to receive future rate notices directly to their inbox instead of waiting for postal delivery. To register for eNotices, visit ararat.enotices.com.au. You will need the unique reference number located on the back page of your current rate notice to complete registration.
