Ararat Denture Clinic Latest Recipient of Council’s Facade Grant Scheme
Ararat Denture Clinic is the newest local business to benefit from the Ararat Rural City Council’s Façade Grant Scheme.
The funding allowed Ararat Denture Clinic to install brand-new signage, creating a fresh and welcoming clinic space for both their clients and the local community.
Now officially open at 36 High Street, Ararat Denture Clinic shares its space with Wren Chiropractic, another local business that successfully utilised a Council Façade Grant last year.
Through the Façade Grants program, Council awards up to $10,000 on a 2:1 matching basis to help local businesses refresh their storefronts.
The program is open to new, expanding, or relocating businesses with a street frontage anywhere across the municipality. Funding can be used for a variety of external upgrades, including painting, deep cleaning, replacing doors and windows, installing new signage, and adding outdoor lighting, heating, or cooling.
Council’s Façade Grant Scheme has supported more than sixty local businesses with façade upgrades since the grants scheme began.
This initiative is part of an effort to improve street appeal, maintain the heritage of local buildings, and support those looking to open a new or expand their existing business.
"When we invest in local business, the positive ripple effect hits the entire community,” says Ararat Rural City Mayor Bob Sanders.
“It’s all about working together to give our main street a fresh, welcoming atmosphere that makes locals proud and gives visitors a great first impression."
Applications for the next round of Council’s Façade Grant Scheme are now open!
