Ararat Rural City Council School Holiday Program Offering Lots of Family Fun this Spring
Ararat Rural City Council’s 2025 Spring School Holiday Program is in full swing, offering many exciting events and activities for children and families across the municipality.
With one week down, there’s still a week of fun-filled activities to keep kids entertained, learning, and active throughout these school holidays.
Upcoming activities include Movie Monday and Lego Club sessions at the Ararat Library, daily Community Wall Creation Station workshops, and drop-in craft sessions at Ararat Gallery TAMA.
Ararat Town Hall will host two family-friendly shows:
- The Librarian: a show blending clowning, physical theatre and the circus arts, and inviting young audiences to discover the passion of reading and the power of the imagination. Catch it on Tuesday 30 September, from 11am – 12pm.
- Cinderella: a magical performance of Prokofiev’s “Cinderella” dances with new life. Like Cinderella’s transformation at the stroke of midnight, experience a symphonic metamorphosis that transports you through every twist and turn of the story. Join us on Wednesday 1 October, from 11am -12pm.
Tickets are available at ararattownhall.com.au.
Bookings may be required for some activities listed above, so families are encouraged to check details in advance. For more information on the full program, visit Ararat Rural City Council’s website or contact Council on (03) 5355 0200.
“We’re proud to provide our community’s families with a wide range of fun experiences through our School Holiday Programs,” said Ararat Rural City Council Deputy Mayor, Cr Bob Sanders.
"Our dedicated staff have worked to ensure there's something on offer for everyone, allowing children and their families to enjoy quality time together."
