Expressions of Interest Extended for Youth Events, Activities and Happenings (YEAH) Crew

Expression of Interest for Ararat Rural City Council’s Youth Events, Activities and Happenings (YEAH) Crew have been extended until 5pm on Friday 23 May 2025.

The YEAH Crew is an opportunity for young people between the ages of 12 and 25 to make an impact in their community.

As a YEAH Crew member, you'll get to unleash your creativity by designing and running awesome events and activities for young people that promote inclusivity, respect, and understanding of all cultural backgrounds, abilities and aspirations.

You'll team up with other passionate young leaders to plan and deliver impactful experiences. Plus, you'll gain invaluable skills in event management, leadership, communication, and teamwork, setting you up for success in whatever you do.

To express your interest in joining the YEAH Crew, visit Engage Ararat. For those 18 years or older, simply fill out the online form. If you're under 18, download the form (Word or PDF), get your parent or guardian's signature as instructed, and then complete your sections of the form.

The YEAH Crew is funded by the Victorian Government’s Engage! 2025-27 grants program, which aims to support opportunities for young people to take the lead on projects, build new skills, achieve their goals and encourage communities.
