Upcoming Road Closures for East Grampians Rural Pipeline Works
Ararat Rural City Council is advising residents and motorists of upcoming temporary daytime road closures as Mitchell Water undertakes the East Grampians Rural Pipeline Project over the coming weeks.
Deenicull Creek Road will be closed from 30 September to 10 October 2025, including a short two-day closure on a section of nearby Philip Flat Road (between Deenicull Creek Road and Rocky Point Road) during this period.
Tatyoon North Road is scheduled for closure from 28 October to 7 November 2025.
Works will take place daily from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and roads will reopen each evening. Well-signed detours will be in place, and local landholder access will be maintained throughout the works.
Ararat Rural City Council CEO, Dr Tim Harrison, said, “Keeping the community informed about these works is a priority, as we know how important safe and reliable roads are to those living and working in our region. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as this essential project proceeds.”
We thank residents for their cooperation while we carry out these improvements to maintain the quality and safety of our roads.
