Revenue & Rating Plan 2025-2029

Council at its meeting held on Tuesday 27 May 2025 adopted its Revenue & Rating Plan 2025-2029

Council's commitment to working in partnership with its community was reflected in the community engagement process undertaken to prepare the Revenue & Rating Plan 2025-2029.

During April and May 2025, a series of community engagement sessions were held in Ararat, Buangor, Elmhurst, Lake Bolac, Moyston, Pomonal, Tatyoon and Willaura.

Ararat Rural City Council's Rating & Revenue Plan 2025-2029 determines the most appropriate and affordable revenue and rating approach for Council which in conjunction with other income sources will adequately finance the objectives in the Council Plan 2025-2029.

This plan is an important part of Council’s integrated planning framework, all of which is created to help Council achieve the outcomes of the Community Vision 2035.
